Fireworks safety
While the use of fireworks continues to grow in popularity, the rate of fireworks-related injuries has decreased gradually. This is the result of more thorough testing procedures and stricter firework production guidelines.
At Red Moon Fireworks, each product that we manufacture has undergone a series of independent laboratory tests in isolated environments to evaluate their safety.
Due to the number of categories of fireworks, each type contains its own set of pyrotechnics testing parameters, ensuring that the products will perform safely with consumer use. All of these testing procedures take place prior to shipping from our warehouses.
In addition to the independent testing conducted by Red Moon Fireworks, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has devised its own regulations for all consumer fireworks that cover various safety parameters.
A few of their safety standards include:
- A warning label is affixed to consumer fireworks that outline their classification as a potential hazard and contains the function of that specific firework device.
- Each firework that is sold to consumers must meet strict performance requirements and parameters for its construction.
